''Dweller of the night''

Part of my ''homework'' we were supposed to ''imitate'' Vincent van goh's '' style of painting and i know i failed miserably here.....took me around 7-8 hours....yup I'm a sllllloooooow painter but thats just how it is.....
and it is the 1st thing I've submitted in a loooong time maybe 2 weeks....idk..cant remember..but life's just full of stuff and you cant say ''no'' to some things ...but anyhow...
if anyone knows any good tips about ''Vincent van goh's'' style plz tell me so the next time i have something like this, it doesn't come as a ''crapy'' artwork...cuz to me, it just feels like i smashed a loada paint on the paper...and to make things worse, cuz of Hong Kong's weather,.or who knows why....or the use of poster paint, its cracking....0_0...I'm not a fan of poster paint cuz i usually use acyclic...and....if any ''cracked piece'' falls off...I'm dead...and there goes my bloody marks...><.......
